SakaynaTech IT Solutions OPC ("SakaynaTech", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through sakaynatech.com and our products, how we use it, and your rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
The most important thing to know: our software (AccountingPro ERP, SakaynaTech Payroll, and the SariKita mobile app) keeps your data on your own device. Your accounting, payroll, sales, and customer data live on your own computer or phone — they are never transmitted to us, and we have no access to them. This policy is mainly about the small amount of contact information you share with us through this website.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you submit — when you request a demo, place an order, or contact us: your name, email address, mobile number, company name, and approximate number of employees, plus any message you write.
- Order & license records — the plan you ordered, payment status (marked manually by us), and the license key we issue to you.
- Basic usage counts — we count installer downloads in aggregate (a number, not who you are).
We do not collect credit-card numbers (payments are made directly via GCash or bank transfer), and this website does not use advertising trackers or social-media pixels.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your demo request, question, or order;
- To send payment instructions, your license key, and order confirmations;
- To provide support and notify you of important product updates;
- To keep simple sales records as required for a registered business.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
3. Where your information is stored
Form submissions and order records are stored with our website hosting provider (Netlify) and processed through our business email. We keep them only as long as needed to serve you and meet record-keeping obligations, then delete them upon request or when no longer needed.
4. Data inside our software
Data you encode in AccountingPro ERP or SakaynaTech Payroll — employees, salaries, customers, transactions — is stored in a database file on your own computer, under your control. We cannot view, access, or recover it. You are responsible for using the built-in Backup & Restore feature to protect your own data, and for complying with the Data Privacy Act with respect to your own employees' information.
5. SariKita mobile app
SariKita (our free Android app for sari-sari stores) works fully offline. All your data — products, sales, utang, customers, and any product photos you take — is stored only on your phone. SariKita does not require an account or sign-up and sends nothing to us or to any server; we cannot see your data. You control your data through the in-app Backup & Restore feature.
The camera permission is used solely to scan product barcodes and take product photos, which are saved locally on your device. SariKita does not record audio or video, and does not access your contacts, location, or messages. When you scan a barcode, only the barcode number may be sent to a public product database (Open Food Facts) to suggest a product name and image; no personal information is included.
6. Your rights
Under RA 10173 you may ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- Correct it if it's wrong;
- Delete it (unless we're required to keep a sales record);
- Stop sending you emails (every marketing email includes our contact to opt out).
Just email info@sakaynatech.com — we'll act on verified requests promptly.
7. Cookies
This website uses only what's technically necessary to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Children
Our products and website are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on the website.
